POLYPHENYLENE ETHER RESIN COMPOSITION

A resin composition which comprises (A) 70 to 98 wt.% polyphenylene ether resin or mixture of a polyphenylene ether resin and a polystyrene resin, (B) 1 to 15 wt.% hydrogenated aromatic vinyl/conjugated diene block copolymer having an aromatic vinyl unit content of 50 to 80 wt.%, and (C) 1 to 15 wt.% hydrogenated aromatic vinyl/isopropylene block copolymer having an aromatic vinyl content of 15 to 45 wt.%. The resin composition is excellent in injection moldability (flowability and productivity), heat resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance and can give a molding excellent in appearance and rigidity even in a thin-wall part. It is suitable for use in applications where the composition comes into contact with water or is used under high-temperature high-humidity conditions, especially as a part to be in contact with an organic solvent contained in a cosmetic lotion, etc.
