<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly shift control of a start clutch controller without any trouble such as a delay of control, shocks, etc. when a shift position is switched between a non-run range and run range. <P>SOLUTION: Engaged pressure is controlled in a first fill and constant-pressure standby and a start clutch 38 is maintained just before a non-engaged state capable of transmitting torque in the start clutch (60) until control of engaged pressure for the start clutch 38 is complete in accordance with shift handling from a non-run position to a run position (S50). The start clutch is controlled in an engaged state corresponding to a control mode of the clutch after the control of engaged pressure is complete according to the shift handling (S70). When shift handling is carried out from the run position to the non-run position, the start clutch is maintained in an engaged state if speed of a vehicle V is a designated value or over (S230, 240), and the start clutch is controlled in a dis-engaged state if the speed of the vehicle is slower than the designated value (S270). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
