<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heating body of a fixing device from cracking owing to a temperature difference between a non-passage part and a passage part for a sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A manual insertion paper feeder which feeds a sheet toward the fixing device fixing an unfixed image on the sheet by heating the sheet carrying the unfixed image is characterized in that even when sheets are successively sent in a sheet-width-directional paper feedable area as a heating area in the fixing device for sheets, the sheets are moved in the width direction to pass a next sheet through a non-passage area where the precedent is not passed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
