<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for flue gas from a melting furnace generated in melting treatment of incineration residue of municipal waste and/or industrial waste, in which the volume of generated dust is small, less amount of chemicals is required for fixation of heavy metals of the dust, the treatment for fixation of heavy metals is facilitated, and the concentration of hazardous components in the gas can be greatly reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In this treatment method, the incineration residue of municipal waste and/or industrial waste is subjected to a melting treatment in the melting furnace, and generated flue gas is passed through a bag-filter followed by passing through a scrubber. In this case, alkaline chemicals (e.g. slaked lime) is put in the bag filter in the amount of 10-100 kg per ton of the incineration residue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
