<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable ventilating operation of high efficiency and low noise, in a jet fan capable of operating in a forward/backward direction. <P>SOLUTION: The jet fan comprises an electric motor 4 wherein rotating shafts are projected from both end portions thereof, and capable of rotating in the forward/backward direction; a casing 3 (3a, 3b) storing a rotor blane and the electric motor, and forming a flow path; a stand 5 on which the electric motor is fixed; and a plurality of stand supporting stays 6 supporting the stand.
