PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten axial size to achieve compactness of a whole device, and dispense with centering work to simplify fitting work. SOLUTION: This electric actuator is provided with a gear mechanism 18 to transmit rotation driving force of a rotation driving source 16, and a ball spline mechanism 56 including a ball spline shaft 14 to convert rotary motion transmitted by the gear mechanism 18 into a linear motion to be movable forward and backward from a connection block 44 outward. It comprises a ball spline nut 58 engaged with the ball spline shaft 14, and integrated with a gear part 70 engaged with the gear mechanism 18, and having plural tooth parts along a circumferential direction.
