LEATHER WINDING STEERING WHEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel capable of enhancing abrasion-resistance by inhibiting projection of a connection part of leather materials each other in a leather layer and easily coping with the case when a sewing position of the leather material is changed. SOLUTION: In the leather winding steering wheel, the leather layer 18 is arranged so as to cover an outer peripheral surface side in a covering layer 15 of a ring part and is formed by sewing end parts 21a each other of a plurality of divided leather materials 20 along a circumferential direction of the ring part. The respective leather materials 20 have thin parts 22 constituted by notching a back surface side of the end part 21a so as to make a thickness dimension near the sewing part 24 thinner and are set such that a length dimension from the sewing part 24 to a terminal 21b is made approximately the same as a thickness dimension of a body part 21 of the leather material.
