PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of easily and suitably picking up an image at a desired field angle. SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with a liquid crystal viewfinder for visually confirming the picked-up image of an object, display section for displaying the picked-up image of the object, wide zoom button for zooming in a wide angle side, tele-zoom button for zooming in a telephoto side, and field angle assist button for setting an imaging field angle to the field angle of an image displayed on the liquid crystal viewfinder. When the field angle assist button is depressed in a state where an image 72 is displayed on the crystal viewfinder 70 and the display section 46, and then the wide zoom button is depressed, an image 74 obtained by zooming the image 72 in the wide angle side is displayed on the display section, and a field angle assist frame 76 representing a field angle when the field angle assist button is depressed is displayed on the center of a screen.
