PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable data to be written in an external unit or to be read from the external unit, without a fault in a displaying process or continuously imaging process. SOLUTION: When the continuously imaging process or the displaying process is conducted, the transfer mode between a memory 102 and a digital interface unit 105 is changed into a low-speed transfer mode. In this case, the data transfer between the memory 102 and the digital interface unit 105 is controlled directly by a controller 106. Meanwhile, when the continuous imaging process or the display process is not conducted, the transfer mode between the memory 102 and the digital interface 105 is changed to a high-speed transfer mode.
