PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless communication device in which incoming call ringer sounds can be produced with a stereo effect in the case of arrivals of calls, reception of the calls and talking over the device is possible even in both unfolding and folding states of the device and further received information from the calling parties or the like can be checked. SOLUTION: Of a first housing 1 and a second housing 2 that are positioned opposite to each other and are openable and closeable by turning around centering on a perpendicular axis line in relation to each opposite surface, a key operating portion 5 and a microphone 4 are provided in the opposite surface side of the first housing 1. Further, a display 6, two speakers 7, 8 arranged sandwiching the display 6, and a second microphone 9 are provided in an outside surface of the second housing 2. In the case of the unfolding state, the first microphone 4 and the speaker 8 distant from the first microphone 4 are made to act as a transmitter and a receiver, respectively and in the case of the folding state, the second microphone 9 and the speaker 7 distant from the second microphone 9 are made to act the same, respectively.
