PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical alignment device which eliminates a need of assembling and improves the reliability and the precision. SOLUTION: An optical integrated alignment device (12) accurately aligns and effectively combines energy between intra-surface optical devices. A semiconductor substrate (14) is etched to form a groove (24) for an optical fiber (16) and a lens (40) for allowing an optical signal to pass to a light detector (20) from the cut fiber. The etched semiconductor substrate is used for allowing the optical signal to pass the optical fiber cut from the surface light emitting device. The end part of the optical fiber is cut at such angle that the optical signal may be guided from or to the fiber through the lens. The lens focuses the optical signal on a target.
