PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of automatically switching a current video signal to a video signal transmitted from a radio communication means when a video signal cable is disconnected from a connector. SOLUTION: A video signal generated by a personal computer PC1 is transmitted to the display device D1 and displayed on a display processing part 1. The video signal is transmitted through a cable 6 connected to the connector C1 of the device D1 or through a radio LAN. When the cable 6 is connected to the connector C1, a switching circuit 2 is switched to the cable side when a detection circuit 3 detects cable connection by the operation of a switch S1 and the video signal transmitted to the cable is displayed on a display part. When the detection circuit 2 detects the disconnection of the cable in accordance with the operation of the switch S1, the video signal transmitted through the radio LAN is supplied to the display processing part.
