PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inspection workability efficient and to quantitatively evaluate the degree of degradation at the inspection of the state of degradation of a reinforced concrete pipe constitution a sewer pipeline, an agricultural water pipeline, etc. SOLUTION: The presence or absence of degradation in the reinforced concrete pipe is recognized, and and the degree of degradation is ranked. From the results of the investigation, a section to be investigated in detail is selected within an area to be inspected. Then the thickness of the pipe and the diameter of reinforcement in the selected section to be investigated in detail are measured. The arrangement of the reinforcement in the section to be investigated in detail is verified. Each data on the thickness of the pipe, the diameter of the reinforcement, and the arrangement of the reinforcement is used to perform structure analysis and compute the pipe strength of the reinforced concrete pipe.
