PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capturing apparatus that can be easily used even by a person without much strength where it is difficult for a criminal or the like to grasp and swing a capturing part when the capturing part is pressed against the criminal or the like. SOLUTION: The capturing apparatus 100 has a rod like shaft part 110, and the capturing part 120 provided on a tip of the shaft part 110 and having a curved shape. A multiplicity of protrusions 111a, 121a, 121b and 122a are formed on the capturing part 120 and an outer face of the shaft part 110 in a neighborhood of the capturing part 120. An emitting device 113 such as a tear gas spray is attached to the shaft part 110. Grip parts 114 and 115 are formed on a rear end side of the shaft part 110. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
