PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device for a cylinder injection engine comprising failure diagnosing means and dealing means for the entire device, and preventing the misdiagnosis in diagnosing the failure of a low pressure-side fuel pressure controller, and further preventing the misdiagnosis by cooperatively performing the diagnosis of failure of the low pressure-side fuel pressure controller and that of a high pressure-side fuel pressure controller. SOLUTION: An abnormality detecting means and the dealing means are mounted for every component of the low pressure-side fuel pressure controller to distinguish each failure, and a specific abnormality detecting means is stopped on the basis of a result of the diagnosis by a related diagnosis stopping means to prevent the interference in the diagnosis of the failure, whereby the misdiagnosis can be prevented.
