PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a wiper device for a vehicle by preventing the chattering of an automatic fixed-position stopping switch. SOLUTION: A relay plate 71 to be in contact with contact plates 63, 64, 65 on earth, motor and battery sides fixed to a bottom cover 37 is fixed to a switch disc 62. The switch disc 62 has a movable protrusion 81 while the bottom cover 37 has a fixed protrusion 82 to be in slide contact with the movable protrusion in a relatively rotatable manner. When a wiper switch is switched into an OFF position, even if a wiper blade does not reach a resting position, the movable protrusion 81 is slidingly moved on a slope 82b of the fixed protrusion 82 to cause the rotational movement of the switch disc 62 and the movement of the contact plate 65 on the battery side from a boundary B between the relay plate 71 and the non-conductive portion 72b to a stable position.
