PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide image recording material packages with which an image recording material can be loaded in an image recording device in a state the material is shielded from external light, and an image recording material loader. SOLUTION: When the image recording material packages 10 are loaded on mounting stands 38, 40 and 42 and covers 70, 72 and 74 are inserted into grooves 64, 66 and 68, loops 28 and hooks 58 of hook-and-loop fasteners adhere and the interior of the mounting stands 38, 40 and 42 is shielded from the external light. When the light shielding bags 12 are pulled out of the grooves 64, 66 and 68, portions 76 of the light shielding bags 12 separate from the light shielding bags 12 and the portions 76 of the light shielding bags 12 remain in the mounting stands 38, 40 and 42. At this time, bar code labels 24 pasted to the portions 76 of the light shielding bags 12 and bar code readers face apertures 52, 54 and 56 and therefore the identification information of the bar code labels 24 can be easily read from outside.
