<p>According to the invention a mould seal for use in a mould used for creating permanent electrical connections between electrical conductors, and between electrical conductors and metallic surfaces by means of moulding a molten metallic compound around the electrical conductors, or around the electrical conductors and onto the metallic surfaces, is provided comprising a preformed body member having an outer surface adapted to complement at least one surface of the mould, the body member forming a seal between the conductor and the mould to prevent leakage of molten metallic compound from the mould.</p> |
