<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition satisfactory in storage stability and delivery stability, in which a pigment ink is problematic, without detriment to the excellent properties inherent in a pigment and to provide an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink composition contains a pigment represented by the formula (wherein n is the number of chlorine atoms; and n = 0-16). The ratio (B/A) is 1-10 (wherein A is the amount of the pigment dissolved in the liquid medium at 25°C; and B is the amount of the pigment dissolved in the liquid medium at 40°C). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
