<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overheat of a motor without limiting the output of the motor in a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle 1 is provided with an engine 2 and a motor/generator 3 as power sources and transmits, at least, one of the powers of the engine 2 and the motor/generator 3 to an axle shaft 5a via a transmission 4 to use it as a propulsion force of the vehicle. This vehicle is provided with a motor temperature sensor 14 detecting the temperature of the motor/generator 3, changing the transmission ratio of the transmission 4 according to the temperature of the motor/generator 3 detected by the motor temperature sensor 14 to change the rotation speed of the motor/generator 3, and controlling the operating point of the motor/generator 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
