<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize advertising information received by an on-vehicle machine outside the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: DSRC (dedicated short range communication) roadside radio equipment 1 is installed at the entrance of a parking lot, and the advertising information sent from a retailer's personal computer 4 through an information server 3 is transmitted to the on-vehicle machine 2 mounted on the vehicle entering the parking lot. The on-vehicle machine 2 downloads the received information to the main body 12 of a car navigation system 8 and displays the downloaded information on an indicator 11 of the main body 12. Since the main body 12 can be removed from the vehicle VE, the user removes the main body 12 from the vehicle VE and carries the main body VE when the user gets out of the vehicle VE.
