<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing unit which can impart an optimum visual point changing image for a user's favorite changing in response to circumstances and can improve general purpose properties. <P>SOLUTION: The signal processing unit includes a decoder for digitizing a camera signal, a memory for storing digital red, green and blue signal data, a plurality of lookup tables for recording superposed data including a corresponding relationship by a coordinate conversion between an input pixel and an output pixel, an own vehicle position and color information at each looking-down angle, and an image superposing unit for processing to superpose superposed image on an output image, and an encoder for generating an analog output image signal based on a signal from the image superposing unit. Operations of these overall units are controlled, the plurality of the tables are selected and referred based on an image switching signal from an image switching means. Which address information of the memory is used in response to the tables is designated to the memory, and then the analog output image is obtained by the encoder based on the superpositing signal from the superposing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
