<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electrophotographic characteristics such that an image defect is hardly generated, potential variation is small, and potential stability can be maintained for a long period of time, a method for manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor, a processing cartridge having the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and an electrophotographic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor having a photosensitive layer on a base is characterized in that the base is aluminum or aluminum alloy, a film containing aluminum, oxygen and titanium, or aluminum, oxygen and zirconium is formed on the surface of the base on the side of the photosensitive layer, and an intermediate layer consisting of an organic metal compound and an organic macromolecular compound is formed on the film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
