<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thinly and flatly compose a card connector by bending a contact into a nearly U-shaped form, by eliminating the need of soldering to the contact and the like and by reducing the height of a contact body. <P>SOLUTION: This card connector is formed into a flat form by the connector body having a card mounting part with its upper side opened. The card connector is so structured that its front side is opened; a card insertion hole is formed; side walls are formed on both its side; its rear side is closed to form an end wall; and a plurality of the contacts electrically connected to the mounted card are so installed as to align on the end wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
