<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sealing device for a container which can be uniformly heat-welded when the opening peripheral edge of the container and a lid body are heat-welded, and also, does not cause anxiety for a defective bonding in the appearance as well. <P>SOLUTION: This heat-sealing device for the container heat-welds the opening peripheral edge part of the container and the heat-weldable lid body which is mounted on the container. The heat-welding device is equipped with a heater 1 which is formed into a ring-shape, a first power feeding unit 2 and a second power feeding unit 2 which are directly arranged on the heater. Then, the electrode size of respective power feeding units 2 is made to satisfy a following conditional equation (1). In this case, the conditional equation (1) is b>b' (in the equation, b is the length of the electrode going along the inner periphery (outer periphery) of the ring, and b' is the length of the electrode going along the outer periphery (inner periphery) of the ring).
