PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct exposure control for a rear photographing device in order to get a photographed image easy to detect the vehicles behind. SOLUTION: An illumination value of a pre-set photometry area is computed and stored beforehand for a front photographed image obtained by a front photographing device 1. When a vehicle exists behind, an illumination value corresponding to a position where the vehicle exists is retrieved from illumination values of front photographed images, and exposure control is conducted for a rear photographing device 2 on the next time of photographing based on the retrieval result. When a vehicle does not exist behind, an illumination value corresponding to a farthest position where a vehicle can be detected in rear photographed image captured by the rear photographing device 2 is retrieved, and exposure control is conducted for a rear photographing device 2 on the next time of photographing based on the retrieval result.
