PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device being suitable for recording and reproducing of data continued in time series such as AV data. SOLUTION: When data received as data to be written in a recording medium is audio data and/or video data (hereinafter written as AV data), address information 403c specifying the head sector at which the data is written in the recording medium is registered to file control information 402. Also, it is judged whether AV data have contents continued to the AV data written in the previous time or not, when it is continued, the head sector is not registered to a control information storing means.
