PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can efficiently utilize various control programs. SOLUTION: A printer 1 equipped with a boot program for controlling a plurality of control programs recorded in a nonvolatile memory 50 and an HDD (hard disk drive) 60 is provided with a display section 30 in which a plurality of control programs read from the nonvolatile memory 50 and the HDD 60 by the boot program are visually displayed, and an operation section 40 for selecting the plurality of control programs visually displayed in the display section 30.
