PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales promotion label for a tag and a method of attaching the same, which present information for price reduction, sales promotion information, or the like which promotes sales of a commodity, protrusively from an area of the tag to heighten purchasing desire of purchasers and display required sales promotion information such as a corrected price and various advertisement information even in the case of the tag which doesn't have much space to stick the sales promotion label for the tag. SOLUTION: In order to display sales promotion information such as a corrected price and various advertisement information protrusively from a frame of the tag, a label main body 3 attachable to the tag has a corrected price display area 6 for displaying a corrected price of the commodity and an advertisement display area 7 for displaying advertisement information about the commodity, and at least the advertisement display area 7 is attached to the tag protrusively from the tag.
