PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super wide angle lens having high resolution by correcting lateral chromatic aberration and longitudinal chromatic aberration. SOLUTION: The super wide angle lens is provided with: a front group lens 100A constituted of first and second lenses 11 and 12 consisting of negative meniscus lenses and having negative power, a rear group lens 100B constituted of a positive third lens 13; a fourth lens 14 and a fifth lens 15 which are positive and negative joint lenses and a biconvex sixth lens 16; and a diaphragm 21 disposed between the front group lens 100A and the rear group lens 100B.
