PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal-plane shutter for a camera, wherein an exposure operation start position of a driving member attracted to and held on an electromagnet can be suitably adjusted. SOLUTION: An iron piece member 25 and a spring member 26 are attached to an attachment part 24 of the driving member as follows; first a stem part 25a integrated with a head part 25b is inserted to a hole 24a of the attachment part 24 and the spring member 26 is fitted to the stem part 25a, and next a hole position of an iron piece part 25c is aligned with the step part 25a and the head part 25b is rotated to engage the iron piece part 25c with the stem part 25a, and finally the right end of the stem part 25a is crushed to form a stop part. When the head part 25b is rotated in this constitution, the iron piece part 25c attracted to the electromagnet is moved in the lengthwise direction of the stem part 25a to change a relative position of the iron piece part 25c to the attachment part 24. Consequently, the position of the attachment part 24 in the state of the iron piece member 25 being attracted to the electromagnet (namely, the exposure operation start position of the driving member) is changed.
