PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genetic testing apparatus which can simply examine a plurality of genes in a short time. SOLUTION: The genetic testing apparatus utilizes a computer. The apparatus comprises a stage 4 for supporting a DNA microarray, temperature regulators 9, 51 and 53 each for regulating a temperature of the DNA microarray, a CCD camera 5 for imaging an optical signal from the DNA microarray, a fluid transporting unit 41 for outputting and inputting a fluid in the DNA microarray, a storage unit for storing an application for operating the apparatus, a controller 10a for controlling an overall apparatus according to the application stored in the storage unit, a display unit 10 for displaying information, and an input unit 15 for enabling the information to be input from a user.
