PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low NOx combustor comprising a fuel injection valve for preventing backfire and self-ignition, capable of efficiently uniformly premixing fuel and air without causing circulating or disturbing regions, and accordingly effectively restraining backfire or self-ignition even when the use temperature and the pressure are heightened. SOLUTION: This combustor comprises the fuel injection valve 14 for preventing backfire and self-ignition to which a main injection valve 12 on the upstream side and a premixing pipe 13 on the downstream side are coaxially connected. The main injection valve 12 has an axial opening 12a axially passing flow-in air and a plurality of fuel injection ports 12b injecting vertically to the air flow for flowing-in of the fuel, and thereby, a linear flow of the premixed air of the fuel and air, having only axial speed component is formed inside the premixing pipe 13.
