摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the control of high quality by totally taking into consideration the exhaust temperature rise effect, the combustion stability, the HC performance and the smoke performance, in a case of the stratification stoichiometric combustion by performing the initial injection in an intake stroke and a later injection in a later half of compression stroke by dividing the fuel injection by a fuel injection valve 8, when the warming-up of an exhaust clarifying catalyst 16 is requested immediately after the starting. SOLUTION: An injection period of the later injection by the fuel injection valve 8 is advanced, and simultaneously an ignition period by an ignition plug 9 is retarded, in accordance with the indication of higher engine temperature by a parameter correlated with the engine temperature.
