PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high-speed loading/unloading work for containers by intermittently loading and unloading the containers. SOLUTION: This container ship comprises loading hatches for the containers provided on a side wall; a hull provided with the loading hatches respectively; a belt conveyer 6 for carrying the containers laid on the hull; first driving wheels 9 for driving the belt conveyer 6; a plurality of second driving wheels which are disposed between the first driving wheels 9 and rotates the belt conveyer 6; and a container push-up apparatus 11 which is disposed near the belt conveyer 6 and pushes up the containers 2 independently in the ship to stop them.
