PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transfer control by calculating a conveyance speed from a passage time of a reference medium through a sensor or from pictures read by a scanner and correcting a conveyance quantity as a transfer correction value, and to improve the accuracy in medium processing by judging and correcting a print position or a cut position of the medium from a length of the medium inserted by an end user or a printing status by the scanner or the like. SOLUTION: The device has an interposition opening through which a medium is inserted, a conveying part for conveying a medium inserted from the interposition opening, a medium processing part for printing to a predetermined position of the medium conveyed by the conveying part or for cutting a predetermined position of the medium, and a control part. The control part computes the correction value base on defining information memorized beforehand, and carries out printing or correcting of the cut position based on the computed correction value by the medium processing part.
