PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pasting roll, which constitutes the pasting apparatus of a single facer for manufacturing a single-faced corrugated cardboard sheet and suitable for paste becoming gelatinous at a low temperature. SOLUTION: In the pasting roll 16 provided to the single facer for manufacturing the single-faced corrugated cardboard by molding paper into a corrugated state, applying paste to the apexes of corrugations of the corrugated paper and bonding the corrugated paper to a liner, a circulating device 23 is used to circulate a cooling medium in the gaps 17 formed inside the pasting roll 16 for cooling the pasting roll 16.
