PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fishing tackle with a simple structure equipped with a manual reel which enables fishermen to directly sense subtle movements of fish and realizes improved winding speed, easy disassembly and cleaning and reduced cost. SOLUTION: The fishing tackle 1 is basically composed of a fishing tackle body 2 supporting the reel 3 enabling its rotation and detachment, a slip-preventing unit 5 which prevents reel from slipping forward and a brake 4 for braking rotation of the reel. The reel is rotatably and detachably supported by a spindle 26 attached to the side of the body. The slip-preventing unit is equipped with a pivotable, line-contacting member 53 and a means 55 for energizing the contacting member, and the brake is equipped with a pivotable braking member 43, a means 45 for energizing the braking member and a swing lever 42.
