The invention relates to a dosing body (1) comprising a covering-type closed wall (2) and a base (3) embodied on one front side of the dosing wall (2), comprising an external base covering (7) in the form of flat material. The base covering (7) is fixed to on an annular-shaped connecting area (3b, 3b ) of the dosing body (1). The base covering (7) can form an essentially flat area which can be printed upon in a main area, which is surrounded by the connecting area (3b). When a bar code is applied to said printable area, constraints no longer occur in the design options of the dosing wall (2). The base covering (7) can form a platform, whereby a standing dosing body is optionally in contact with the supporting surface exclusively via the base covering (7) and therefore prevents corrosion from occurring. A retaining device (11, 12) is provided for fixing the base covering (7) leaving the base (3) of a held dosing body (1) free and using a fixing device. A decorative film (4) on the external side of the dosing wall (2) can be overlapped by the base covering (7) thereby preventing the decorative film form becoming detached from the base (3). |
