PURPOSE: A method for advertising a sale event using the network is provided to make a customer receive the sale information to maximize consumption utility in real-time, to make an advertiser increase sales through the PR(Public Relations) for the sale event by a proxy, and to make an operator of an information providing server realize a profit from the advertiser by the AD(ADvertisement) price payment. CONSTITUTION: An information providing server receives the registration of the information for the sale event from an advertiser server(S104). The information providing server receives the settlement for the AD price for the sale event from a settlement organization server(S105). The information providing server forms a database of the sale event(S106). The information providing server posts up the sale event through a display window and links the sale event information with the advertiser server. The display window is transmitted to a customer terminal connecting to the information providing server. The customer terminal connects to the advertiser server by searching the sale event information linked with the advertiser server.
