The removable probe includes amplifiers and a memory, with optical fiber coupling to the processor. At least one temperature sensor (25) is arranged at an extremity of at least one optical fiber. There are removable optical fiber joints, which enable separation of the probe from the processor structure. The probe comprises at least one optical fiber (13,20) connected to at least one temperature sensor (25) and an electronic circuit (12) comprising a holding device (14) retaining the optical fiber in mechanical contact with signal converters (4,21). The electronic circuit comprises a removable connector (15) linking the signal converters to the processing circuit (6). The signal converters may comprise light emitting diodes or photodetectors to provide or receive the electronic signals (17,22) passing to and from the processing circuit. The removable probe section may also include a memory (28) and signal amplifiers (7,23).
