<p>The door or window is hung in a fixed frame about an adjustable axis by a number of hinges, each with one section fixed to the frame and one section to the door or window pane. An adjusting element provides an adjustment movement, at least in the plane of the door or window pane and alters the setting of each hinge with respect to the hinge axis to align the hinged frame inside the fixed frame. The hinge sections can slide against each other by the movement of the adjusting element. One or more independently acting locking elements (37) between the hinge sections fix the hinge pieces with respect to each other and prevents the adjustment movement.</p> |
