SLAG DART

PURPOSE: A slag dart is provided which prevents slag in molten steel from being drained out into ladle by closing converter tap hole at a time when molten steel tapping operation is finished during tapping operation of converter. CONSTITUTION: In a slag dart(1) for closing converter tap hole to prevent slag from being drained out into ladle during molten steel tapping of converter, the slag dart comprises a dart head(10) on which a plurality of slits(12) are formed to close converter tap hole; a rod member(30) comprising first steel rod(32) projected on an upper surface of the dart head(10), and second steel rod(34) removably assembled onto a lower surface of the dart head(10); a sleeve(50) inserted into the converter tapping hole with being integrally covered on an outer side of the second steel rod(34); and a means of the center of gravity(70) fixed to the dart head(10) with being inserted onto the outer circumferential surface of the dart head(10).
