PURPOSE: A device and a method for processing a voice instruction are provided to reduce an access time to a voice instruction database by constructing the databases storing the voice instruction based on grammar and searching the database corresponding to a word after separating the voice instruction into the meaning words. CONSTITUTION: A program executing database(203-1) executes a program. A read instruction database(203-2) reads information. An input word database(203-3) inputs the word. An address book database(203-4) offers the address information. An IE(Internet Explorer) favorites database(203-5) offers the IE favorites information. A schedule and task management related database(203-6) offers the information related to a schedule. A controller(202) controls the instruction execution by accessing the database(203) corresponding to the grammar and the meaning words outputted from a voice recognition engine(201). A signal processor(204) executes a signal process for outputting a voice instruction executing result to a speaker(205) and/or a display part(206).
