PURPOSE: An apparatus for guiding strip in bright annealing line is provided which prevents damage of carbon rolls by directly correcting the deflection of strip in the state that line is operated in case that strip passing through the bright annealing line is deflected to one side. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a pair of carbon rolls(10) installed in a certain height difference in front and rear of the strip(200) between heating furnace and cooling zone of the bright annealing line; a moving means comprising a moving frame(30) at a front end of one side of which the carbon rolls are rotationally installed, which is horizontally extended to an outer side of duct(140), and on the surface of which rack(31) is formed, a driving motor(33) installed at a housing(32) projectingly installed at an outer side of the duct so that the housing envelops the moving frame, and a pinion gear(34) installed at rotation shaft of the driving motor and engaged with the rack so as to move the carbon rolls to the strip side; and a correction means comprising a hinge shaft(41) installed between the moving frame and supporting members(40) for supporting a front end of one side of the carbon rolls, a step motor(42) installed at the moving frame, a transfer screw shaft(43) installed at rotation shaft of the step motor, and a female screw member(44) installed at the supporting members of a front end of the other side of the carbon rolls and engaged with the transfer screw shaft so as to correct deflection of the strip by rotating a front end of one side of the carbon rolls.
