FIELD: heat engineering equipment, particularly for heating and industrial boiler plants and heat-electric generating stations. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying of deaerated water in accumulating tank through water feeding pipeline and discharging of deaerated water through withdrawal pipeline, removing of corrosion reaction products from water by deposition thereof under cone element installed in accumulating tank bottom. Cone element is placed with cone element vertex upwardly directed and gap is formed between cone element and accumulating tank walls. EFFECT: reduced corrosion products content into accumulating tank.
