摘要 FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly bearing assemblies of pinion stands of rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: bearing assembly of roll of pinion stand includes upper and lower sliding inserts having babbitt layer on their inner cylindrical and on outer end surfaces engaging with cylindrical surface of neck and with flat face of end of barrel of pinion-stand roll. Upper insert has central radial opening for supplying liquid lubricant to friction surfaces. Inserts at side of barrel of pinion-stand roll are provided with changeable semiflanges. On surfaces of semiflanges joined with inserts there is annular groove forming in bearing assembly annular cavity. In wall of upper insert there is lengthwise opening parallel to axis of bearing assembly and connecting annular cavity with radial opening for supplying lubricant; said radial opening is made in restricting shoulder of insert at side opposite relative to barrel of pinion-stand roll. In semiflanges there are openings connecting inner annular cavity with outer surface of end babbitt layer of semiflanges. In said end babbitt layer there are radial grooves made along axes of lengthwise openings and inclined to side of bearing assembly; said radial grooves are mutually connected through annular slot provided on surface of end babbitt layer. Semiflanges are joined with inserts by means of bolts; dowels are mounted between semiflanges and inserts. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of bearing assemblies and pinion-stand rolls, lowered consumption and improved quality of rolled metal. 5 dwg
