FIELD: feed production, in particular, preparing of straw for animal feeding. SUBSTANCE: extruder has casing, feeding hopper, extrusion screw, and device for regulating pressure inside casing. Said device is formed as bushing mounted in casing for axial displacement relative to front end of extrusion screw. Extrusion screw is made in the form of resilient helical strip, which embraces shank arranged at rear end of extrusion screw, in spaced relation thereto, and is fixed on shank by means of rear coil. Diameter of shank is equal to inner diameter of extrusion screw rear coil. Feeding screw pitch is greater than extrusion screw pitch. Chamber defined between extrusion screw rear coil and feeding screw front coil has bases formed by said screw coils, with coils being arranged in spaced relation with respect to one another, said space being equal to 3-5 pitches of extrusion screw. Chamber side surfaces are defined by surfaces of casing and shank. EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to stabilized extrusion process providing constant pressure inside extruder casing. 2 cl, 1 dwg |
