SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring potential difference between ear base and five points of ear surface during grain formation; determining average values of potential difference; additionally measuring potential difference between ear base and five points on ear rod during rod formation and grain milk stage; judging yield by certainty of difference between average potential difference values of potential differences of control and test versions, said certainty being determined by Student criterion.
