FIELD: glass industry. SUBSTANCE: invention elates to silicate technology and composites of glass used for manufacturing fiber being by spinneret method mainly. Glass for manufacturing fiber comprises the following components, wt.-%: SiO2, 66.0-70.0; Al2O3, 1.0-2.0; CaO, 2.0-3.0; Na2O, 8.5-10.0; ZrO2, 12.0-15.0; TiO2, 0.5-1.0; SnO2, 4.0-5.0. Glass comprises additionally Sb2O3 and/or As2O3 in the amount 0.1-0.2 wt.- %. Glass melting point is 1500 C. Invention provides the enhanced stability of fiber being especially to alkali effect.
